This company has built a reputation for the supply of high quality chilled and frozen, ready prepared foods to a number of establishments. They are able to offer consistent product quality, to the highest technical and service standards.

 

The Role

Working hours are 9 – 5 Monday – Friday (although a degree of flexibility is required) as a Technical Administrator.  

  • You will provide administrative support to the NPD (New Product Development) Manager and Technical Manager and lead / manage projects to ensure the implementation of the company’s Quality Improvement Plan.
  • You will ensure the continued application of the company’s Quality Management System. 
  • You will act as champion for quality, safety and legality by confirming the sites adherence to procedures.

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Assisting the NPD Manager with the completion of customer specifications and sample submission forms, preparation of samples for customers, helping with factory trials, writing trial reports, maintenance of NPD records, etc.
  • Assisting the Technical Manager with internal audits and customer audits and follow-up of both, maintenance of supplier approval and monitoring procedures, investigation of customer complaints and associated trends, micro sampling and investigation of out of specification results, etc.
  • One-off projects as deemed necessary as part of the company’s Quality Improvement Plan or due to additional customer / BRC requirements
    Completion of meat species testing, ATP swabbing and monitoring positive air pressure system
  • Providing holiday and absence cover for QA Technologists as and when required
