Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, £28 -30k South Wales

The Role

Working as part of a maintenance team, the role will involve planned and preventative maintenance as well as responding to equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate will be able to wok unsupervised and use own initiative.

Duties / Expereince

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Flexible – role is shift based
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Ability to fault find in panels, motors, hydraulics, invertors etc.
• Experience of PLC’s – Siemens
• Good Mechanical understanding – ideally fabrication, welding, press and injection moulding
• Computer literate
• Apprenticeship – 4 years indentured
• City & Guilds or ONC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering a benefit
