The Role

Be accountable and responsible for the daily running of the production shift or department to ensure that all Key Performance Indicators are achieved across all areas to include staff, productivity, customer requirements and quality.

• Plan and produce product to customer specification
• Maintain hygiene standards throughout production shift
• Control actual and potential areas of waste across all Key Performance Indicators through fair and consistent application of all internal policies and procedures.
• Control correct stock rotation of all materials.
• Train new and existing staff in task procedures and review and record with team members all training activity.
• Ensure that all PPE is correctly worn by all staff and visitors when working in or visiting the area of responsibility.
• Arrange and attend department or other meetings as required.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out correctly.
• Participate in customer visits and factory tours.
• Working with other teams/departments on projects.
