The Role

To develop, implement and maintain the site quality management system, ensuring the effective management of product safety, authenticity, legality and quality.

  • Lead site quality management systems to comply with regulatory, customer, industry and third party/ accreditation bodies
  • Review and report KPIs
  • Support and implement new quality systems for the company
  • SOP/ policy and training
  • HACCP Team Leader
  • Manage the food safety plan
  • Review legislative customer, business and BRC requirements
  • Ensure certificates are displayed and up to date
  • Accreditation compliance – halal, kosher – maintain documentation
  • Food alerts and horizon scanning

 

The Person

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working within a manufacturing technical team with knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems and Quality Management
  • Qualified to at least A level standard in a scientific or related subject
  • Qualified lead auditor
  • Understanding and experience in managing a food production technical management system
  • Level 3 Food hygiene
  • Level 4 HACCP
