About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a team near Bristol.

Duties:

When you join as a Technical Manager you will be part of the Senior Management Team and your main areas of focus will be:

• To own, lead, develop, drive and champion the Technical strategy by working with the production teams, ensuring legislative compliance to food safety within the manufacturing environments.
• To interface directly with customers and suppliers regarding compliance with food safety and quality issues.
• To ensure that procedures are in place to manage food safety and quality systems e.g HACCP/GMP.
• To interface with external bodies with regards to compliance audits e.g. BRC follow up any non-conformances with robust, timely action plans

About you:

• Ideally degree educated, Food Science / Technology or Microbiology qualification preferred
• Would suit an existing Technical manager or high calibre Quality Manager looking for the next step-up
• Proven experience at a similar level in food manufacturing
• Experience of food manufacturing
• Level 4 HACCP
• Level 4 Food Safety
• Good working knowledge of BRC Global Standard (ideally version 8 and 9)

Remuneration package will be based on qualification and experience.
