Overview:

We’re currently working with a successful food manufacturer who are hiring a Production Supervisor to join their friendly team in Exeter.  The role is based on working a weekend shift (Friday 8am – 8pm. Saturday & Sunday 7am – 7pm).  You can expect to achieve a salary of up to £27.5k + opportunity of overtime at time & a half.

The Role:

Managing, motivating, and leading the team by example

Ensuring Health and Safety as well as company policies & procedures are being followed

Writing reports and completing various documents/forms for management

Following the production plan and reporting set backs to the production manager

Ensuring paperwork is completely in full and on time

Ensuring high food safety and quality standards

Adhering to company standards and procedures

Reporting any machinery issues and breakages, including start up checks

Liaise with other departments to ensure the production is running smoothly

The Person:

Previous experience working in food, or any other industry, as a supervisor or team leader is an advantage.
