Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager who is looking for their next challenge. The role will encompass the day to day management of two manufacturing operations across two sites based in RCT.
You can expect to achieve a salary of £47 - £50,000 dependent on experience, subject to qualification private healthcare insurance and participation in the profit share bonus scheme.

The Role
The applicant will have the responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing with the managers for production, engineering and warehousing teams reporting directly to them. They will be experienced in manufacturing management and ideally in a food-based environment. The role will involve:

• Championing LEAN manufacturing principles throughout the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to drive productivity and efficiency, ensuring production targets are met
• Ensuring the companies meet all statutory requirements with regards to Health & Safety
• Working alongside the Managing Director and Business Development Manager to research and deliver solutions for new customer lines
• Coaching and mentoring in all areas of the business to achieve performance.
•  Driving quality in service throughout all aspects of the production operation with regard to both internal and external customers
• Managing the adoption/implementation into production of the required business accreditations to include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC Global Standards & Soil Association.
