Summary
A rapidly expanding food manufacturer is seeking a Production Line Leader to join their team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for a team of up 20 members of staff working on in the production department.
- You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene and safety are maintained.
- You will be responsible for motivating and developing your team, working towards targets for quality, waste and consumption.
- You will be responsible for motivating the team to achieve labour KPI targets.
- Ensure paperwork is completed and is 100% correct.
- Ensure GMP Standards are maintained.
- Maintain discipline throughout the team, achieved with the use of performance reviews, formal and informal warnings.
- Develop the skills and knowledge of all members of your team.
- Identify training requirements and implement training.
- Complete all return to works with your team.
- Identify problems quickly and take effective action to resolve problems.
- To act on information given to you by supervisors & managers.
- Conduct daily briefings.
- Troubleshooting machinery & fixing issues.
The Person:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Supervisor / Team Leader role within a manufacturing environment.
- Understand company policies, rules and regulations.
- Intermediate food hygiene certificate.
- Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
- Competent with a PC using all Microsoft packages.
- Have a proven track record of motivating your team.
- Co-operates and works well with others throughout the company in pursuit of team goals, sharing information and supporting others.
- Constantly mindful of ethical standards both personally and professionally, showing integrity, reliability and trustworthiness.
- Be an effective delegator & good communicator
