The Role:

  • Oversee all warehouse activities
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
  • Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Overseeing logistics, warehouse and transport services
  • Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures
  • Resolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chain
  • Maintaining customer service logs and safety records
  • Management and supervision of staff within the booking in / distribution team and Drivers.
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of items to customers and suppliers.
  • Oversee driver schedules and route plans for efficient and timely transit of goods.

The Person:

  • Experience working in a supply chain management role.
  • Proven track record in supplier cost reduction, negotiation skills.
  • Ability to organise, manage and lead a team of individuals
  • Numerically strong and computer literate
  • Relationship-building skills for internal and external partners.
  • Proficient in MS packages.
