The Role
This is a new role and the company are open to tailoring the position based on the individuals experience and knowledge. They are planning on utilising the successful candidate where the role would be split across the business.
Functions to include:
- Assisting the Technical Manager in the Technical dept
All training will be given and some duties include:
- Creating lab samples to be sent off to our contractor
- Water testing our cooling towers and documenting the results.
- Typing letters to suppliers and customers
- Walking the factory floor and conducting audits and documenting findings and results.
- Assisting the Operations Manager
- Typing letters to send to suppliers, prospective employees and current employees
- Filing
- Other clerical work as and when needed.
- Assisting the sales department in the afternoons, the candidate would be based in the general office to assist the Finance Manager.
- Answering telephone calls
- Logging customer orders
- Continuing work that’s been set but covering the office as and when needed.
The Person:
- Good knowledge of word/excel and PC literate
- Good telephone manner
- Polite and courteous
- Be methodical in their approach and be self motivated.
