The Role

Role involves working closely with the Warehouse Manager & Supervisors to support and enable goods to be dispatched on time and in full, to required standard. Logistics Planning to book the required vehicles by day to meet customer expectations and keep the warehouse clear.

 

Responsibilities

  • Continuous liaison with internal stakeholders including Warehouse, Planning, Finance and Customer Services.
  • Liaise with external haulage companies as required.
  • Manage the flow of communication and documents between the warehouse and the Customer Services Team.
  • Prepare Pick and Dispatch documentation, on instruction from the relevant teams, for the Warehouse to ensure all loads are prepared in a timely manner, and documents are ready for time of loading.
  • Assist the Supervisor and Finished Goods Supervisor with discrepancy investigations and stock control queries.
  • Any other reasonable duty required to benefit the department or the business.

 

Qualifications

  • English and maths GCSE’s essential – Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Driving is desirable.
  • Counterbalance Certification desirable.
  • Pivot Steer Certification desirable

Organisation Skills – Organise and prioritise work appropriately

Customer Service Skills – ensuring customer satisfaction
