Overview
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Quality Auditor to join a well-established, food manufacturer based in Mid Wales.
You can expect to achieve a salary of up to £24,000 working a four-shift pattern of Monday – Friday: 6am to 2pm, 8am to 4pm, 2pm to 10pm & Sunday – Thursday 10pm to 6am.
The Role
Conduct, monitor and record relevant checks on all aspects of production, as directed by the Quality Manual. Highlight any non-conformances which may occur and take appropriate corrective action.
To work with the site Quality Assurance Supervisor and site Technical Manager in maintaining the quality systems and quality standards throughout the site.
Duties will include:
- To work to and maintain all aspects of the Quality System.
- To oversee Quality of products against specification requirements.
- To work closely with the Production teams monitoring and ensuring that all aspects of the Quality and H&S on the factory floor is adhered to.
- To ensure that C.C.P’s within the factory are being adhered to.
- To ensure paperwork in circulation is of the correct version.
- To conduct daily scheduled GMP Level 1 audits.
- To monitor the collection of samples such as taste panel, shelf life and micro samples.
- To host daily taste panel assessment.
- To complete shelf life assessment.
- Daily Calibration of testing equipment such as Scales, p.H meters and Refractometers.
The Person
- Previous experience of working with chilled food and process knowledge.
- Experience of working in a flexible environment across shifts and departments.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene
- Basic Health and Safety Certificate
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Analytical skills
