Overview
We are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager / National Account Manager for a relatively small food manufacturer who are experiencing fast company growth due to consumer demand. The company is re-branding this year and plans to accelerate the rate of growth significantly over the coming years. The site in Somerset is BRC AA accredited. This role would suit an individual who is keen to grow with the business.
The Role
- Drive sale strategy and win new business
- Actively explore & approach potential new customers
- Develop and win new business opportunities
- Drive market and brand plans in accounts
- Develop joint business plans with accounts
- Build sales opportunities & relationships with multiple customers
- Communicate with existing & new customers
The Person
- The ideal candidate will have direct sales / business development experience ideally in FMCG food & drink
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Clear and confident communication style
- FMCG commercial experience required
