Position Overview<\/p>\n

Plan and prepare production schedules and accurate \u2018work to\u2019 lists for manufacture of products<\/p>\n

Essential Job Functions<\/p>\n

Maintain Item Master in Javelin. Lead Times, Batch Quantities
\nCreate, maintain and socialise Master Production Schedule
\nAnalyse constraints to the plan and feedback requirements to Operations Management
\nAssign Work to List for each Work Centre and identify early and late progress to plan by task
\nProactively seek to manage the scheduling horizon as far in the future, by liaising with Sale Department and understanding future demand, Analysing Capacity restraints and level scheduling.
\nSensitivity analysis to give options to Operations Management for changes to the Plan
\nOptimise the Master Critical Path for Works Orders to drive maximum load
\nExpedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
\nPrepares production reports
\nCleansing of Works Orders and applying process changes
\nEnsuring Works Orders are Aligned to meet Sales Orders and Child Parts are scheduled according to the demand.
\nPreparation of the three-month Sales forecast and detailed updates ensuring monthly target is achieved.
\nAdherence to FIFO scheduling consideration<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements – Knowledge\/Skill<\/p>\n

High level of communication and organisation skills required
\nUnderstanding of machine capacities and parts routings.
\nClear understanding of Routings and timelines.
\nMonitoring Attainment to Plan figures Daily \/ Weekly and escalating any deviations from plan.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements \u2013 Experience<\/p>\n

Ideally would have a proven track record of planning and production controlling experience in a similar engineering environment
\nWorking knowledge of Javelin to be able to interrogate the data
\nWorking Knowledge of Capacity planning<\/p>\n

Good computer literacy and Microsoft capabilities<\/p>\n
