Efficiency, Quality, Safety.<\/p>\n<p>To be key to set up of lines particularly at changeovers to make fine adjustments to optimise performance of equipment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance programme as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<li>Fault find\/troubleshoot on breakdowns and take necessary and timely corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Complete all documentation and file it accurately, ensuring non-conformance forms are communicated to Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct duties in a safe and competent manner and report immediately any unsafe or defective equipment or practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe systems of work and work permits are in place and followed.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct duties hygienically, efficiently and within the specified Quality Standards.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all necessary personnel, including but not exclusive to, Operators, Quality, Laboratory, Contractors, as required.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with opposite shift Maintenance Technicians to ensure detailed hand over.<\/li>\n<li>Identify cost reduction opportunities and report to Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Attend team briefings suggesting improvements and workable solutions to team performance.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain detailed knowledge of relevant Process, Filling and Packing specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain required standard of Housekeeping in designated area.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain assigned tool kit reporting any problems immediately to Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the training of assigned staff.<\/li>\n<li>Follow specified Stores procedures for equipment and spare part issues and return.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures as specified in the manufacturer recommendations and\/or Quality System.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out the following detailed duties in line with laid down procedures and standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To plan and execute planned preventative maintenance to all plant and equipment within their department to meet the demands of the business.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure compliance of Quality procedures by meeting Site targets for continuous improvement, within the Department.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure full implementation of Safety systems and safe practices of work and continually practices this with in their department\u2019s teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal experiences \/ Qualifications \/ Capabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 years Proven Multi-skilled engineering experience<\/li>\n<li>GCSE Grade C or above in English &amp; Maths or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed a Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship<\/li>\n<li>HNC \/ NVQ III \/ C&amp;G 2&amp;3 certificates<\/li>\n<li>17th Edition IEE wiring regulation pass Desirable:<\/li>\n<li>Previous Engineering experience within a food manufacturing business<\/li>\n<li>Strong engineering competence on production plant and auxiliary equipment<\/li>\n<li>Experience of continuous improvement<\/li>\n<li>Able to self-manage and prioritise own workload to satisfy commitments and meet agreed deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary: \u00a335,000.00-\u00a340,000.00 per year<\/p>\n<p>Benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company pension<\/li>\n<li>Cycle to work scheme<\/li>\n<li>Employee discount<\/li>\n<li>Wellbeing Program<\/li>\n<li>Referral Program<\/li>\n<li>Free parking<\/li>\n<li>On-site parking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 hour shift<\/li>\n<li>Monday to Friday<\/li>\n<li>Overtime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Production &amp; Maintenance Engineer Full Time &#8211;\u00a0Rotating Shifts (39 hours per week).
