Managing the safety, health, environmental (waste) work systems, site audits, applicable report writing, HSE compliance auditing, HSE training, HSE system development.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to carry out Safety, Health &amp; Environmental audits and inspections<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring Lifting Operations\/Equipment and safety management including registers in line with LOLER regs.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring equipment &amp; plant in line with PUWER, PAT, Electrical and other relevant regs.<\/li>\n<li>Traffic\/Pedestrian &amp; Evacuation Routes Management<\/li>\n<li>Risk &amp; COSHH Assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Fire Inspections, Audits &amp; Emergency Plans and management of systems e.g. fire extinguishers controls and fire alarm and fire drill exercises.<\/li>\n<li>Accident Investigations, trend analysis &amp; F2508 RIDDOR Notifications<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of training plans and management of the training matrix.<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of inhouse General Safety (including Fire Marshal, First Aider, LOLER, PUWER safety talks) and &amp; Tool-Box Talk Training sessions.<\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of Forklift safety.<\/li>\n<li>The S,H &amp; E(w) Manager provides resources and information to Company employees and management as needed and works closely with the Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Shift, Managers including the Church Stretton factory Manager &amp; Directors to ensure that all manage safety, health &amp; environmental (waste) responsibilities in compliance with legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage conflict resolution with regards to safety issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively on all levels from board to operative levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record in HSE Management and HSE Management standards (good iso14001 and iso 45001 knowledge and experience may be useful)<\/li>\n<li>NEBOSH general certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Broad knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental legislation and Guides\/Standards<\/li>\n<li>Experience setting up and or running EMS<\/li>\n<li>Experience in generation &amp; checking of policies, procedures, risk assessments (+ reviewing &amp; utilising method statement detail), COSHH assessments in a pressured environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Food Manufacture industry<\/li>\n<li>Management of improvement programs &amp; various improvement activities\/techniques<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver Toolbox talks and relevant internal training<\/li>\n<li>Experience of undertaking Accident\/Incident investigations and production of associated reports<\/li>\n<li>Able to communicate and interact across all levels of the business<\/li>\n<li>Identifies hazards and potential risks and assist operations staff with eliminating or mitigating those hazards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience in HSE.<\/li>\n<li>Formal qualification for Environmental (IEMA or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of HSE Standards practices &amp; techniques<\/li>\n<li>Experience in performing audits\/assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of all Microsoft packages.<\/li>\n<li>Auditor qualification<\/li>\n<li>PTTLS or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter able to manage own workload with a robust personality and pragmatic attitude, capable of working to long term goals whilst managing short term changes in a fast paced often high- pressured environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"panel-2587-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_wordpress_file_upload_widget panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >[siteorigin_widget class=&#8221;WFU_Widget&#8221;]<input type=\"hidden\" value=\"{&quot;instance&quot;:{&quot;title&quot;:&quot;Interested in Applying??
