{"id":2488,"date":"2022-08-22T10:53:25","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T09:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2488"},"modified":"2022-08-22T10:53:55","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T09:53:55","slug":"operations-manager-cornwall-up-to-75k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2488","title":{"rendered":"Operations Manager, Cornwall, Up to \u00a375k"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2488\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2488-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2488-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2488-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in an operations manager role preferably in FMCG\u00a0manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Six Sigma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Highly systematic and organised<\/li>\n<li>Strategically minded<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To have an awareness and understanding of the business values and objectives and to actively and positively contribute to the review process.<\/li>\n<li>To assist in the development of the strategic plan for all operational activity;<\/li>\n<li>To lead the Company\u2019s continuous improvement programme, projects and team;<\/li>\n<li>To implement and monitor the annual and medium term operational plans, program and projects to meet overall objectives and agreed timings;<\/li>\n<li>To plan and control change;<\/li>\n<li>To manage quality assurance programmes;<\/li>\n<li>To research new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency;<\/li>\n<li>To oversee inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout<\/li>\n<li>To ensure complete implementation &amp; compliance to prescribed quality management systems &amp; best practice processes;<\/li>\n<li>To review operational process and challenge all documented procedures to improve sustainability and relevance;<\/li>\n<li>To execute the production schedule, assign duties &amp; co-ordinate activities of colleagues engaged in the production process;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure planned KPI\u2019s of efficiency, cost, quality and performance are met or exceeded and activity and required action is reported on;<\/li>\n<li>To establish individual accountability using coaching, support and the performance management process;<\/li>\n<li>To drive staff moral through engagement and communication seeking to drive forward a \u2018can do\u2019 attitude throughout the team;<\/li>\n<li>To define team goals, assess team performance and recognise performance that achieves or fails to achieve business results;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the team is adequately equipped with the necessary tools (systems, up to date processes, training and equipment) to effectively perform in their roles;<\/li>\n<li>To communicate with other managers &amp; team leaders to determine progress of work;<\/li>\n<li>To produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure facilities are maintained<\/li>\n<li>To ensure effective internal communications both within the operations team and across the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>To manage each department as a cost centre, setting targets for improvement utilising a continuous improvement approach;<\/li>\n<li>As requested, to undertake projects or activities not specifically outlined in key activities.<\/li>\n<li>To undertake training and to assist in training other or new members of staff where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"panel-2488-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_wordpress_file_upload_widget panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >[siteorigin_widget class=&#8221;WFU_Widget&#8221;]<input type=\"hidden\" value=\"{&quot;instance&quot;:{&quot;title&quot;:&quot;Interested In Applying??
