{"id":2429,"date":"2022-06-10T10:57:51","date_gmt":"2022-06-10T09:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2429"},"modified":"2022-06-10T10:58:19","modified_gmt":"2022-06-10T09:58:19","slug":"production-planner-dorset-35k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2429","title":{"rendered":"Production Planner, Dorset, \u00a335k"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2429\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2429-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2429-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2429-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>Post: Production Planner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Function\/Department: Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsible to: Planning &amp; Supply Chain Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To schedule the manufacturing of products through the business in the most efficient way possible ensuring that agreed stock level and customer service is maintained at all times.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities\/Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce a weekly production schedule for the site enabling packing lines to run at their most efficient, minimizing product changes, size changes and clean downs.<\/li>\n<li>Raise works orders for all required production.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership of weekly planning meeting and daily update meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all documents, systems and spreadsheets accurately and on time.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate swiftly and effectively with the Technical team in the event of any non-conformance to standard operating procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate any risk to service swiftly and effectively with the Commercial team.<\/li>\n<li>Check Finished stocks and Blank stocks on a weekly basis and replenish accordingly taking into account customer demand and forecast requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Censor checking of forecast and flagging any issues to the commercial team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training\/Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years\u2019 experience in a similar role\/environment.<\/li>\n<li>Numerate and literate, with outstanding attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter \u2013 an ability to work under your own steam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of warehouse management \/ MRP system\u2019s an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a FMCG business.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a food business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills\/Aptitude: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Calm, Analytical, Measured approach with good team and computer skills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"panel-2429-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_wordpress_file_upload_widget panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >[siteorigin_widget class=&#8221;WFU_Widget&#8221;]<input type=\"hidden\" value=\"{&quot;instance&quot;:{&quot;title&quot;:&quot;Interested in Applying??
