{"id":2337,"date":"2022-03-28T11:22:32","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T10:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2337"},"modified":"2022-03-28T11:23:02","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T10:23:02","slug":"zone-leader-port-talbot-mornings-afternoons-32000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2337","title":{"rendered":"Zone Leader, Port Talbot, Mornings &#038; Afternoons, \u00a332,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2337\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2337-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2337-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2337-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting a Zone Leader for a manufacturer who are based in Port Talbot.\u00a0 You can expect to achieve a salary of \u00a332,000 working on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday-Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Zone Leader is responsible for ensuring that the departmental team\u00a0 have the skills \/ \u2018tools for the job\u2019 by driving area \/ line operations within a specific area.<\/p>\n<p>From coaching of staff to developing best practise and ensuring Quality Right first time approach.<\/p>\n<p>The Zone Leader provides a consistent framework to developing Standards \/ Teamwork for people \/ process ensuring Health and Safety awareness \/compliance<\/p>\n<p>Health &amp; Safety<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall Management responsibilities for Health &amp; Safety in their designated areas<\/li>\n<li>Ensure risk assessments are available for all operations and are reviewed appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure operators are working in a risk free environment wearing the correct PPE<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the operators are compliant in company H&amp;S requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all paperwork is correctly filled out in a timely manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quality\/ Technical<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively promote a \u201cright first time\u201d environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure food safety is followed in the production of products<\/li>\n<li>Ensure area standards are set and maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in NC\/CAPA investigations as required<\/li>\n<li>Own responsibility of line clearance for manufacturing\/packaging as per SOP372<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attainment to plan<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the resource to ensure that levels are acceptable for plan adherence<\/li>\n<li>Ensure plan is completed and discrepancies are reported accurately through works order compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure blockers to OTIF are removed or resolved<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all equipment is running to agreed cycle time rates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Staff development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coaching staff and development of their teams and to review progress.<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs for self and team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all opportunities for training are realised.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Continuous improvement<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing and owning departmental improvement plans.<\/li>\n<li>Support and guide team to ensure improvements are delivered.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential areas of improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
