{"id":2270,"date":"2022-02-14T14:48:15","date_gmt":"2022-02-14T14:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2270"},"modified":"2022-02-14T15:00:56","modified_gmt":"2022-02-14T15:00:56","slug":"maintenance-engineer-hereford-3-shifts-16-33-per-hour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2270","title":{"rendered":"Maintenance Engineer, Hereford, 3 shifts, \u00a316.33 per hour"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2270\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2270-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2270-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2270-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturer who are based in Hereford.\u00a0 You can expect to achieve a salary of \u00a316.33 per hour working a 3 shift pattern of mornings, afternoons &amp; nights Monday-Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Purpose if this role is to provide engineering support and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide engineering support and expertise as directed by the area Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks according to the plant schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out fault diagnosis of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and provide rapid response to breakdown situations.<\/li>\n<li>Auditing safety systems, ensuring that safe working conditions are always maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe systems of work policy and Risk Assessments are adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Adopt a working style that will continually improve and enhance work practices.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate methods of reducing plant downtime and increasing efficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out Health and Safety, 6s improvements within the areas of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure as part of the engineering team that standards of 6S and housekeeping are kept to a high standard.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all engineering plant areas are correctly serviced, maintained and calibrated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to communicate, persuade and influence effectively at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>An analytical problem solver, distilling complex issues into coherent solutions and taking action.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet complex and demanding requirements within demanding timescales.<\/li>\n<li>Able to network and build relationships, with strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-reliant, flexible and resourceful<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates assertiveness, determination and perseverance.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivator \u2014 able to set own goals and deliver against them.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and able to enthuse others.<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and approach to all issues.<\/li>\n<li>Solution oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
