{"id":2257,"date":"2022-02-03T11:56:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-03T11:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2257"},"modified":"2022-02-03T11:56:19","modified_gmt":"2022-02-03T11:56:19","slug":"multi-skilled-engineer-gwent-35000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2257","title":{"rendered":"Multi Skilled Engineer, Gwent, \u00a335,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2257\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2257-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2257-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2257-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer for a food manufacturing company based in the Gwent area of South Wales.\u00a0 The company are experiencing a rapid rate of growth so this could be an excellent, challenging opportunity for the right individual.\u00a0 You can expect to achieve a salary of \u00a335k working a mornings &amp; afternoons shift pattern.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance work and to be reactive to production plant, equipment and buildings, to ensure safety and reliability of the production process.<\/p>\n<p>Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous development of knowledge and familiarity with the engineering requirements of the manufacturing process systems and machinery<\/li>\n<li>To work as an active part of a developing cross functional planned maintenance team<\/li>\n<li>To ensure correct Health &amp; Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times<\/li>\n<li>To ensure a fast and effective response especially under breakdown conditions<\/li>\n<li>To quickly diagnose faults and take corrective action<\/li>\n<li>To work on various projects including installation and modifications to plant and equipment<\/li>\n<li>To actively participate in a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site, constantly identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure good working practices are adhered to throughout plant<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the workshop is always audit ready.<\/li>\n<li>To ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict schedules, and constantly look for improvements that will ensure reliability of equipment is improved<\/li>\n<li>To be part of an on-call Rota.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good electrical fault finding<\/li>\n<li>18<sup>th<\/sup> Edition Certificate<\/li>\n<li>PLC Programming Capabilities preferred, but not essential<\/li>\n<li>FMCG Experience<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering qualifications\/experience.<\/li>\n<li>A thorough and detailed approach to maintenance work<\/li>\n<li>You must be comfortable and confident to work on your own<\/li>\n<li>You must be both literate and numerate with basic computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of plant maintenance work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
