{"id":2119,"date":"2021-08-18T14:56:44","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T13:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2119"},"modified":"2021-08-18T14:58:37","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T13:58:37","slug":"admin-hs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2119","title":{"rendered":"Administrator for Health &#038; Safety and Training, \u00a321,000, North Devon"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2119\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2119-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2119-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2119-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An exciting opportunity has opened for an Administrator to join a well-established, food manufacturer based in Barnstaple, North Devon.<\/p>\n<p>You can expect to achieve a salary of up to \u00a321,000.\u00a0 This role would suit a graduate or junior individual who is keen to commence a career within a diverse administration role.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Undertake various admin duties including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Health &amp; Safety Manager in day-to-day administrative activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and supporting the company&#8217;s H&amp;S systems, policies and documentation and managing emails and queries within the mailbox.<\/li>\n<li>Data entry<\/li>\n<li>Updating training manuals<\/li>\n<li>Help prepare paperwork for new starters (and other such administration linking QHSE and Human Resources)<\/li>\n<li>Risk assessment\/safe systems of work administration and other safety\/environmental administration.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in booking training courses and monitoring training certification expiry dates<\/li>\n<li>Compile accurate data and statistics in relation to all health and safety matters i.e. accidents and near miss, mandatory documentation review status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Person <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience of administration (health &amp; safety would be advantageous)<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with good ability in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills at all levels including presentation skills, active listening etc<\/li>\n<li>Be dedicated and self-directed<\/li>\n<li>Possess a positive customer service attitude<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret and understand complicated legislation and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
