{"id":2049,"date":"2021-06-21T11:21:32","date_gmt":"2021-06-21T10:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2049"},"modified":"2021-06-21T11:21:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-21T10:21:32","slug":"electrical-maintenance-engineer-35-5k-powys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=2049","title":{"rendered":"Electrical Maintenance Engineer, \u00a335.5k, Powys"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2049\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-2049-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-2049-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-2049-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><b><u>Role Objective:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>To carry out ongoing preventative and emergency maintenance work throughout the site in conjunction with the requirements of the Company.<\/p>\n<p>Brief Description of Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily visual equipment check for production line machinery; including<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Hand power tools<\/li>\n<li>Power packs<\/li>\n<li>Gearboxes and drives<\/li>\n<li>Rise\/fall platforms etc.,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out regular and ongoing electrical maintenance including lighting, starter motors etc.,<\/li>\n<li>Generally assist operations and office staff with requests for maintenance repairs;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out tasks on maintenance repair list in priority order;<\/li>\n<li>Complete works as detailed in Managers maintenance request sheets;<\/li>\n<li>Attending and resolving emergency breakdowns as they occur, working to get equipment serviceable in a timely manner;<\/li>\n<li>Installation and commissioning of equipment, network cabling, rewiring, phone line maintenance;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with carrying out general building maintenance including;<\/li>\n<li>Gates, rails, mesh flooring, general household maintenance such as light bulbs, washers etc., fridges, switches and railwork, general welding repairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Key Skills:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A thorough understanding of the relevant technology<\/li>\n<li>Good practical skills and a common-sense approach<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under extreme pressure if, for example, an entire production line is shut down, and a willingness to work unsociable hours when required<\/li>\n<li>The tact, diplomacy and sense of humour required to deal with people in stressful situations and provide confident assurance<\/li>\n<li>Self-confidence and ability to work independently or as a member of a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"panel-2049-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_wordpress_file_upload_widget panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >[siteorigin_widget class=&#8221;WFU_Widget&#8221;]<input type=\"hidden\" value=\"{&quot;instance&quot;:{&quot;title&quot;:&quot;Interested in Applying?
