These include pro-active tasks to include projects, line improvements, off line repairs, planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Engineering Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out reactive maintenance to all plant, equipment, services and buildings as required, to include fault finding and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance and monitoring as per schedules<\/li>\n<li>Assist with developing and implementing line improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Record and communicate all findings.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with projects and the installation and commissioning of new plant.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with outside contractors where required.<\/li>\n<li>Work with team leaders and the management team to ensure targets are met on safety, quality, output, efficiency, energy and waste.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with the Engineering Manager on all engineering and production issues.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in controlling department budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a flexible role in the operation, covering scheduled holidays, additional hours, absences and call outs where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical bias is preferable but not a necessity.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally candidates with experience in working a night pattern.<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared to be hands on<\/li>\n<li>Be able to multi-task and have good organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Have previous experience working within a FMCG \/ food industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
