\nWe are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer for a food manufacturer who are based in Haverfordwest. The company are offering a competitive salary which is negotiable dependant on experience. This is a days\u2019 based position.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Role<\/strong>
\nReporting into the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work alongside the Production and Technical department.
\nDuties:
\n\u2022 Deliver effective and efficient service support for all manufacturing equipment
\n\u2022 Ensure breakdowns are addressed and repaired in a timely manner, deliver equipment preventative maintenance schedule to avoid machine downtime.
\n\u2022 Provide expert system maintenance, breakdown support, installation, safety, risk assessment and commissioning
\n\u2022 Drive to improve machine uptime
\n\u2022 PM Schedule adherence\/review – preventive maintenance and record keeping
\n\u2022 Project support
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, standards of operation and safe operating procedures
\n\u2022 Ensure consistent, flexible and timely attendance at work of self
\n\u2022 Ensure own and team provision of flexibility to meet company operating requirements
\n\u2022 Provide pro- and re-active and supportive verbal and written communication to team members, peers and managers
\n\u2022 Ensuring that all areas are delivered for the benefits of our customers and business and that our customer focus and integrity is of the highest standards.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Person<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Current experience\/qualification (HNC or equivalent) in a related Engineering Discipline
\n\u2022 Experience in the overhaul, repair and modification of manufacturing equipment and pneumatic systems.
\n\u2022 Computer literate with working knowledge of PLC controlled equipment
\n\u2022 Proactive approach\/right first-time attitude
\n\u2022 Speaking, writing and understanding good spoken and written English language. (This is an essential health & safety, traceability, team management and quality control requirement which will be tested as part of the recruitment process)
\n\u2022 Good numeracy skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience of air pneumatics<\/p>\n

\u2022 Attentive to detail
\n\u2022 Good facilitator and motivator
\n\u2022 Flexible, adaptable, keen to learn and support others’ learning
\n\u2022 Accreditation Food Hygiene equivalent at minimum level 2<\/p>\n
