\n\tSpecifications Technologist<\/p>\n

The Role
\nAs a specifications technologist you will be required to conduct all the raw material, finished product specifications and label verifications to ensure they are complying. Reporting into the Technical manager
\nDuties:
\n\u2022\tThe role of Specification Technologist is challenging and varied, and no two days are the same. You could be working on a new product range or making changes to existing ranges, so developing a key understanding of products will be essential.
\n\u2022\tkey focus will be to ensure that all customer specifications, pack copies and artwork are accurately set up and that all the necessary documentation and these documents are produced to meet critical path timescales and launch deadlines.
\n\u2022\tYou will be responsible for reviewing copy artwork to ensure that the pack information is accurate and also in line with customer technical labelling policies, so you’ll understand the importance of getting things right first time.
\n\u2022\tYou will also get involved in reviewing raw material specification content to develop the ideal specifications for each raw material in order to improve compliance.
\n\u2022\tYou will be involved with approving raw material specifications and supplier approval process.
\nRequirements:
\n\u2022\tThe successful Specification Technologist will have previous demonstrable experience of working in a similar role in the food manufacturing sector and have knowledge of writing specifications for retailers.
\n\u2022\tYou will be an excellent communicator and can influence across all departments & levels to build and develop effective relationships.
\n\u2022\tBe proficient in the use of MS office tools, written, numerical and verbal skills. Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems would be preferred.
\n\u2022\tSound knowledge of labelling legislation.
\n\u2022\tThe business is working on a major rebrand in April 2020, hence looking for candidates who can add value to the business.<\/p>\n

Shift timings: 8.00am-5.00pm<\/p>\n

Shift days: Monday- Friday<\/p>\n
