Overview<\/strong>
\nWe are currently recruiting an Aircraft Engineer for an independent based aerospace manufacturer who specialise in Airbus and Boeing, based in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. The company has ambitious plans for growth over the coming 12 months; driving an agenda to improve efficiency and streamline operations to support and ensure the continued growth and success of the team and the business.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Role<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in response to customers\u2019 requirements.
\n\u2022 Responsibility for supervising, mentoring & delegating resources to ensure the smooth running of the operation, whilst meeting the Part 145 maintenance requirements, internal processes and procedures and customer SLAs.
\n\u2022 Ensure adherence to H&S procedures and maintaining quality standards
\n\u2022 Upholding the highest level of engineering standards and practices, you will assist in driving the team to deliver defect rectification & investigation, repair, overhaul and modifications.
\nDuties:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Maintaining an oversight of all aspects of maintenance on the customers A400M fleet worldwide
\n\u2022 Acting as a focal point for the engineering organisation and liaising with the part 145 maintenance organisation, the part M organisation, the safety and compliance team and the customers to ensure the continued smooth operation of the customers fleet
\n\u2022 Management and recovery of AOG aircraft world wide
\n\u2022 Analysis of technical delays
\n\u2022 Management of deferred defects, ensuring that they actioned in a timely manner and applying for repair interval extensions when necessary
\n\u2022 Management of maintenance concessions
\n\u2022 Management of aircraft robberies
\n\u2022 Ensuring that aircraft are in the correct role configuration to fulfil the customers mission requirements
\n\u2022 Liaising with the logistic team to ensure that all required parts are available in the correct location when required
\n\u2022 Reporting aircraft availability and serviceability both internally and to the customer
\n\u2022 Monitoring the performance of the third party MRO.
\n\u2022 Liaising with planning and flight operations to ensure all required maintenance is carried out in a timely manner, and to optimise the use of available ground time to ensure that the customers tasking requirements are met
\n\u2022 Participating in department continuous improvement processes
\n\u2022 Management of technical queries and liaising with Airbus customer services to provide timely solutions to technical issues
\n\u2022 Other tasks as required by the Maintenance Control Manager<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence<\/p>\n

o Type Rating & Recency for:
\no B737CL \/ B737NG<\/p>\n

o Airbus A320 Family<\/p>\n

\u2022 5 years aircraft maintenance experience<\/p>\n

The Package<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Salary of \u00a350,000 + \u00a35,000 shift allowance
\n\u2022 Shift pattern: 7am \u2013 7pm on a 4,5,5,4,5,5 shift pattern. This shift pattern guarantees the employee will work 2 weekends in and the following 2 weekends off
