{"id":1596,"date":"2021-07-13T11:12:24","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T10:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=1596"},"modified":"2021-07-13T15:08:43","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T14:08:43","slug":"quality-manager-bristol-32000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jkrecruit.co.uk\/?p=1596","title":{"rendered":"Technical Officer, Gwent, \u00a324,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-1596\"  class=\"panel-layout\" >\n<div id=\"pg-1596-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" >\n<div id=\"pgc-1596-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\"  data-weight=\"1\" >\n<div id=\"panel-1596-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" data-style=\"{&quot;background_image_attachment&quot;:false,&quot;background_display&quot;:&quot;tile&quot;}\" >\n<div class=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\">\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Working within the technical team responsible for day to day admin, risk assessments, spread sheets and KPIs, delegation of work to manage spread sheet compliance to others within the technical team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer SAQ\u2019s \u2013 complete and return in the required timescale<\/li>\n<li>P2D and export documentation cover to ensure that products are exported successfully<\/li>\n<li>Customer codes of practices \u2013 review and risk assess against current practices inline with the auditing schedule or retailer updates<\/li>\n<li>Quality manual \u2013 upkeep of, included document control and reviews of procedures, ensuring that the document is live and grows with factory changes<\/li>\n<li>Customer systems &#8211; responding to alerts and keep contact details up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Complaint analysis \u2013 logging complaints, ensuring responses are on time, monthly reporting to factory<\/li>\n<li>Weekly micro result trending and communication of trends to the wider team<\/li>\n<li>Internal audit schedule management<\/li>\n<li>KPI report \u2013 internal and external<\/li>\n<li>Documenting risk assessments inline with COP \/ BRC<\/li>\n<li>Horizon scanning \u2013 potential risks and threats to the business and communication via monthly HACCP meeting<\/li>\n<li>Supplier conferences \u2013 online or in person where requested to attend<\/li>\n<li>Assist QA with admin of matrixes \u2013 for trend identification, smooth running and knowledge capture. Ensuring the information gathered is used to drive improvements<\/li>\n<li>Raising and receipting POS onto SI for purchases<\/li>\n<li>Supporting in external audits, presentation of documentation, supporting traceability exercises etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The <\/strong><strong>P<\/strong><strong>erson<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Food Science or equivalent related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 1 years experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with working knowledge of computer applications \/ Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Self starter<\/li>\n<li>Audit Experience<\/li>\n<li>Customer interaction \/ contact experience<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Well motivated, flexible and able to work on their own initiative and as a part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to prioritise effectively to produce positive results<\/li>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work openly and collaboratively at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Able to motivate and organise effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible approach.<\/li>\n<li>Systems Driven<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Predominantly a 9-5 position with flexibility where needed generally a desk job<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
