Overview<\/strong>
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a profitable manufacturer based in Mountain Ash. The company have grown fantastically over the last few years and continue to do so.
\nThe role is based on working a 3-shift pattern (mornings, afternoons & nights rotating every Monday-Friday) with a salary of \u00a328,000.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Role<\/strong>
\nReporting into the Engineer Manager, the main purpose of this role is to ensure that machinery and equipment runs effectively and efficiently and to provide engineering support to all production equipment whilst working towards continuous improvement.
\nDuties include:
\n\u2022 Trouble shooting, maintenance and setting of high speed production equipment
\n\u2022 Carrying out planned preventative maintenance of machinery
\n\u2022 Checking and Calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy
\n\u2022 Carrying out various projects as required
\n\u2022 Filling in daily log books to record faults
\n\u2022 Consistently striving for Continuous Improvement
\n\u2022 Maintaining stock control procedure on consumables & machine parts
\n\u2022 Communicating with internal departments over engineering activity and progress
\n\u2022 Adhering to health & safety processes
\n\u2022 Training and mentoring of apprentices
\n\u2022 Carrying out building maintenance as required
\n\u2022 Basic fault finding on FLT
\n\u2022 New Line\/Machine Installation<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Person<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Time Served Electrical Engineer with a good mechanical aptitude
\n\u2022 Knowledge of PLC electrical control systems
\n\u2022 An awareness of health and safety legislation
\n\u2022 Knowledge of high speed production equipment, pneumatic controls and circuitry,
\n\u2022 Technical Problem Solving & Fault finding
\n\u2022 Experience of maintenance & repair of high speed production equipment
\n\u2022 Ability to work unsupervised<\/p>\n
