The company have an extensive customer base, supplying various companies throughout the UK. The role is a shift based position working a 3-2-2 continental shift pattern of days and nights. You can expect to achieve salary of \u00a336,500.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><br \/>The company are looking to hire an employee who has a long-term view as they are proud to say that 80% of the existing employees in the company have been working with them for over 15 years.<br \/>Duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to breakdowns quickly and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Diagnosing faults and repair equipment<\/li>\n<li>Upkeep of reports and records<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on approach<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivating<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage workload<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good timekeeping<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Person<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HNC\/HND Electrical Engineering or equivalent. (desirable)<\/li>\n<li>5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at A-C grade which will include English, Mathematics and Science. (essential)<\/li>\n<li>Time served electrical apprenticeship. (essential)<\/li>\n<li>Counterbalance forklift licence. (advantageous \u2013 not essential)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in FMCG<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a BRC Certified workplace.
