Then this may be a perfect opportunity for you..<br \/>\nWe\u2019re working with a manufacturer who have been established for over 40 years\u2019 and are a leader within their field. They\u2019re recruiting an engineer to join their friendly team at their plant in Bridgend, South Wales. You will be working a days\u2019 based position and salary is negotiable.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><br \/>\nTo act as a \u2018number 2\u2019 to the existing Engineering manager, with a view to succeeding him as Engineering manager on his retirement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Plc\u2019s and invertors.<\/li>\n<li>Experience and knowledge of electrical installations and circuits<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in panels.<\/li>\n<li>General electrical fault finding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient.<\/li>\n<li>Control and delivery of PPM.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to all legislative requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead Health and safety.<\/li>\n<li>Assessing new projects and capex requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrically biased but with mechanical experience<\/li>\n<li>Background in heavy industrial environment<\/li>\n<li>Detailed in planning and procedures and committed to improvement<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with reports, KPI production and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Flexible re working times (to include weekends)<\/li>\n<li>Team player working closely with production and planning departments<\/li>\n<li>Problem solver<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
