The company have a growing product base which is supplied to various companies throughout the UK. The role is a weekend shift working 7am \u2013 7pm Friday \u2013 Sunday (36 hours).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting into the Maintenance Manager, duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in engineering focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment performance KPI\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continuous improvement projects<\/li>\n<li>Support sites technical issue resolution and completion of improvement actions through good engineering practices and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Identify and share best practice and contribute to raising awareness, improving performance and transitioning to a pro-active engineering culture<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out preventative maintenance, working to schedule<\/li>\n<li>Completion of reactive maintenance work when machinery breaks down to ensure impact to line efficiencies is minimized<\/li>\n<li>Team working on site development projects<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high standards of engineering workmanship across the site<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of existing and new standards for key items of equipment and facilities<\/li>\n<li>Lead high standards of safety practices across the business<\/li>\n<li>Complete routine tasks without being prompted including any other duties relating to your role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A time served appropriate apprenticeship<\/li>\n<li>Experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer \/ technician<\/li>\n<li>Minimum technical qualification of O.N.C. in an electrical discipline<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate skills in fault finding \/ repairs on both conventional and P.L.C. control systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work unsupervised, resolving equipment breakdowns immediately<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Siemens S5 &amp; S7, Six Sigma, Kaizen protocol would be a distinct advantage<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, welding press &amp; injection moulding is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role would suit an Engineer \/ Technician \/ Electrician etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
