The company have a growing product base which is supplied throughout the UK. The role is a days\u2019 based position working Monday-Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><br \/>\n The Production Manager \/ Operations Manager will report directly into the General Manager. The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and manage the manufacture of quality products within agreed timescales, defined targets, ensuring the use of resources is used efficiently and effectively.<br \/>\n You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have overall responsibility for the day to day production schedule for all manufacturing zones on site.<\/li>\n<li>Manage, motivate and support a small team of around 40 personnel ensuring continuous improvement is implemented and maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all products manufactured meet the company and customers high quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the manufacturing process is used effectively and efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure targets are met to meet customer requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop training plans for the production team and identifying where training is required.<\/li>\n<li>Training junior members of the production team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available.<\/li>\n<li>Hold daily and monthly production meetings, ensuring all members of the production team are aware of set targets.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with members of the Senior Management team with regards to performance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to statutory quality regulations and legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Be part of the company\u2019s HACCP team<\/li>\n<li>Abide by the companies\u2019 policies and procedures maintaining conformance.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the compliance to all company health and safety procedures and requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous production management experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience within a food manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>HACCP experience desirable<\/li>\n<li>Possess the ability to motivate your team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>JK Recruitment<\/strong><br \/>\n Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
